நாள் நச்சத்திரம்
Nal Natchatram is a film produced by C Nagarajan under the banner Pooja Creations. Sakthi C N R is directing this film. New faces Sanjay and Krishna Shree are debuting in the lead roles. Manorama, Delhi Ganesh and Kulla Mani are also in the cast. As per the story, the hero Kumar has no parents and is being brought by his brother and sister I law. He is a riff raff. The heroine Uma is from a middle income family who is living with an ambition to fill her grandfather’s dream. At one stage the hero who falls in love with the heroine tells her about his love. But she does not bother about it. So the hero keeps on troubling her. Meanwhile Uma’s father Sundaram Pillai fixes her marriage with a relative. On hearing this Kumar becomes furious and takes a drastic step. This is the turning point in the film. He reforms himself and becomes a rich person. How this happens can be seen in the film. Raj Bhavan composes the music while K G Madhavan has wielded the camera.

பூஜா கிரியேஷன்ஸ் சார்பில் சி.நாகராஜன் தயாரிக்கும் படம் நாள் நட்சத்திரம். டைரக்டர் சக்தி சி.என்.ஆர்., இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகும் இப்படத்தில் புதுமுக நடிகர் சஞ்செய், புதுமக நடிகை கிருஷ்ண ஸ்ரீ ஆகியோர் அறிமுகமாகிறார்கள். மனோரமா, டெல்லி கணேஷ், குள்ளமணி, மீரான்கான் உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் படத்தில் இடம்பெறுகிறார்கள்.
படத்தின் கதைப்படி நாயகன் குமார் தாய், தந்தை இல்லாமல் அண்ணன், அண்ணி வளர்ப்பில் பொறுப்பில்லாமல் பொறுக்கியாக, ரவுடியாக வளர்கிறான். நாயகி உமாவோ, நடுத்தர குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்து தாத்தாவின் ஆசையை நிறைவேற்றும் லட்சியத்தோடு வளர்கிறார். ஒரு கட்டத்தில் குமாருக்கு உமா மீது காதல் வர, அதை அவன் சாடை மாடையாக தெரிவிக்க... அதனை உமா அலட்சியப்படுத்துகிறார். குமாரோ... நாயகி உமாவுக்கு தொடர்ந்து தொல்லை கொடுக்கிறார். இதற்கிடையில் உமாவின் அப்பா சுந்தரம் பிள்ளை, தனது சொந்தத்தில் உமாவுக்கு திருமணம் செய்து வைக்க நிச்சயதார்த்தத்திற்கு நாள் குறிக்கிறார். அதை கேள்விப்பட்டு, கொதித்துப் போகும் குமார் ஒரு அதிரடி முடிவை எடுக்கிறார். அதுவே கதையின் திருப்பம். அதன் பிறகு வாழ்க்கையில் வெற்றி பெற்று, கோடீஸ்வரனாக, நல்ல மனிதனாக உயர்கிறான். அது எப்படி என்பதை படத்தின் மீதி கதை சொல்லும்.

Aranya Kandam
Tamil cinema's advancement in technology has started attracting North Indians. Jackie Shroff who has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood has agreed to act in a Tamil film after being highly impressed.
The film is Aranya Kandam produced by Capital Film Works.
Debutant director Kumara Rajan was the one who narrated this story to Jackie Shroff.
The shooting of the film has commenced and producer S P Charan of Capital Film Works is the motivating factors for the new comers.
Charan is a person who believes in real talents, gives opportunities to deserving whether experienced or inexperienced.
Charan had given this opportunity to the newcomer Kumara Rajan who had an experience of only Ad film making. He was highly impressed by the story narrated by Kumara Raja.
Jackie Shroff is in pivotal role. Ravi Krishna. New face Yaasmin, Sampathraj, debutant koothupattarai Somu and child actor Vasanth are in the cast. This film is about characters that are like four pillars. The story revolves around four characters. The director while speaking about the title of the film says there so many parts in Ramayana but one can never forget Aranya Kandam because only this part involves the most important factor of Rama's exile for fourteen years. There are also so many twists and turns in this part so hence this film which has also so many twists and turns has been titled Aranya Kandam.
Jackie Shroff is doing the role of a don. He has been energetic and cooperative from day one of the shooting.
He is happy to act in a Tamil film and is friendly with the colleagues and crew.
Jackie Shroff says," I am acquainted with Chennai for the last 25 years. I have come every year to Chennai for Hindi film shootings. Tamil cinema crew and stars are dedicated and talented. Tamil cinema has given stalwarts like Rajnikanth, Ilayaraja and A R Rahman to the nation. Now I have also become a part of Tamil cinema".
Jackie Shroff and Rajnikanth have acted in Utthar Dharshan. They have shared a lot of things between themselves and are good friends.
Kumara raja while speaking about Jackie said that he is not an egoistic man and mingles with everyone like a youthful person. There is no difficult for him to speak in Tamil because he is able to understand the feelings. Hence there is no problem for him with Tamil.
The story is out and out city based story and hence the shooting of the film is being shot in Chennai. This film is a commercial film with all the ingredients in a different dimension.

Kadhirvel
Papillon Communications is producing the film Kadhirvel and directed by Charan's assistant Venkat.
Ajmal who was revered by one and all for his action in Anjathey is doing the lead role in this film.
Sunaina who became a heart throb in the film Kadhalil Vizhundhen is paring with Ajmal. Both are joining in Kadhirvel.
The shooting of the film has commenced.
Venkat is directing this film which is being produced by Papillion Communications. He was an assistant to Charan. He was also a part of story discussion team of Mysskin. He is not speaking high about his film.
Venkat says with humbleness," Man listens to various stories from the day he is born. Every story is of different genre. But sometimes the same story told by many people will be novel and also be enjoyed. This film is also like that".
"Chennai is a marvelous city. Lakhs of people are living in this city. Lakhs of people are migrating to this city and at the same time many are leaving this city every day. We are commuting in sub urban trains. We travel with different kind of people. We are not bothered about our co passenger who commute with us. We don't know where is he is going and what he is going to do. Whether he is going to temple or whether he is going to place a bomb. Why, he could also come into our life. Our hero Kadhiresan who has finished his Plus 2 comes from a village to Chennai in search of a job. He meets his love interest. Life becomes beautiful. The autumn season in his life turns into spring season. But his beautiful life becomes a turmoil because of a wrong decision he makes. How he faces and how he overcomes this problem is the script".
Kadhiresan's character will be evidence for how the society does not allow a person to correct himself for the mistake he has done without his knowledge. His character will make you weep.
The exchange of affection between persons cannot be seen like how the flower blossoms.This is hidden like the root of a plant and the water it draws cannot be seen. Such is the relationship between his father Veluchami.
Ajmal is the son and Ponvannan is the father. There are so many people moving on the street. But sometimes a girl in a scooty grabs the attention of us. Sunaina is such a neighborhood girl. She is in the role of orthodox Brahmin girl who is bubbly.
The chemistry of Ajmal and Sunaina is so wonderful. As far as the film is concerned the audience can identify themselves with the hero.
"We are making films for the audience. We have to satisfy them because they spend three hours watching a film by spending their money."says the director.

Andru Oru Naal
This film is about a girl student victimized by eve teasing.
A girl is victimized because of the eve teasing done by the students. A whole family is distressed because of the selfish motive of a high police official. The girl disappears. After 6 years she appears in Ad films all of a sudden. It becomes a matter of concern to police officials whether the girl is really dead or alive. This case is investigated by Get up Rajendran. He brings the case to an end by investigating in 11 different get ups. This film has all the ingredients like thrill, suspense, romance and comedy which will entertain the masses.
Jayakrishna, Padma Kumar, Mythali, Brinda, Riaz Khan, Ponnambalam, Rajan B Dev, Senthil, Nellai Shiva, Director Bharathi Kannan, Atlas Ramachandran, Babylona and Sri Nisha are starring in this film. T S Manimaran and Indian has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Ilaya Kamban, Robert and Kiruthia. Anuradha Sriram, Nithayshree and Shanthani Malaysia Vasudevan have sung the songs. Mathew Rajan has handled the camera while Thangavel edits this film. M Arul Murugan has written the screen play and dialogues apart from directing this film.
